尊敬的國(guó)王、王后陛下,，尊敬的王室成員,，女士們、先生們,，我的講稿忘在旅館了,，但是我的話記在腦子里了。獲獎(jiǎng)以來(lái),，發(fā)生了很多有趣的事情,，由此也可以見證到諾貝爾獎(jiǎng)確實(shí)是一個(gè)影響巨大的獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)，它在全世界的地位無(wú)法動(dòng)搖的,。我是一個(gè)來(lái)自中國(guó)的山東高密東北鄉(xiāng)的農(nóng)民的兒子,，能夠在莊嚴(yán)的殿堂里領(lǐng)取這樣一個(gè)巨大的獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)，很像一個(gè)童話,，但它毫無(wú)疑問(wèn)是一個(gè)事實(shí),，我想借這個(gè)機(jī)會(huì)，向諾貝爾基金會(huì),，向支持諾貝爾獎(jiǎng)的瑞典人民表示崇高的敬意,。要向瑞典皇家學(xué)院堅(jiān)守自己信念的院士們表示崇高的敬意和真摯的感謝。

Majesties, Your Royal Highnesses, Ladies and Gentlemen,
It is a
great pity that I happened to have left my lecture notes back in the hotel
room; however, the main ideas are all imprinted on my mind. Since the award
announcement, many funny things have cropped up all along, so it can speak
volumes for the fact that the Nobel Prize Award is really something out of the
ordinary as it stands out so brilliantly with the overwhelming impact on the
entire world. For me, a farm boy from Gaomi'sNortheastTownshipin far-awayChina, standing
here in this world-famous hall after having received the Nobel Prize in
Literature feels like a fairy tale, but of course it is true. I’d like to avail
myself of this good opportunity to pay tribute and express my heartfelt
sincerity to the Nobel Foundation and the Swedish people for their support to
the Nobel Prize Award. Plus, I will convey my highest respect and sincerest
gratitude to academicians of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences for their
being so steadfast in their faith.
我還要感謝這些把我的作品翻譯成了世界很多語(yǔ)言的翻譯家們,，沒(méi)有他們的創(chuàng)造性的勞動(dòng),，文學(xué)只是各種語(yǔ)言的文學(xué)，正是因?yàn)橛辛怂麄兊膭趧?dòng)，文學(xué)才可以變成世界的文學(xué),，當(dāng)然我還要感謝我的親人,、我的朋友們，他們的友誼,、他們的智慧都在我的作品里閃耀光芒,。文學(xué)和科學(xué)相比較，的確是沒(méi)有什么用處,，我想但是文學(xué)最大的用處也許就是它沒(méi)有用處,，謝謝大家。
I hereby
would like to give my thanks to many translators in the world for having
rendered my works into different languages. Literature works are nothing but separate ones in their
respective languages without the creatively industrious labor and efforts made by such
translators. So it follows that their assiduous labor has rendered literature
works into a large literature collection mutually shared by the entire world.
Of course, I will also thank my beloved ones and my buddies. Their friendship
and intelligence are brilliantly shining in my works. Literature does not
really come to much compared with science and technology. In my
humble opinion, the most important role played by literature lies in “its not
making much significant sense”.
